Abstract
Desde hace algún tiempo creemos, en el seno de la docencia infantil, haber superado las incógnitas respecto a la iniciación de la lectura. Las investigaciones psicogenéticas nos han referido con detalle el papel que protagonizan los niños y niñas en este proceso. Creímos que con este conocimiento científico íbamos a superar el problema de los métodos transmisivos para enseñar a leer, pero lamentablemente no ha sido así. Es común oír en las nuevas generaciones de docentes... ¿y ahora cómo enseño a leer? De allí que este artículo pretenda poner en limpio y en el tapete, los conocimientos respecto a cómo se aprende la lengua escrita, cómo se concibe la lectura, cómo estos conocimientos han cuestionado los viejos métodos y, finalmente, puntualizar ¿Cómo enseñar, entonces?

We thought that with this scientific knowledge we would overcome the problem of transmisive methods to teach how to read, but unfortunately that has not been the case. In new teachers generations it is not uncommon to hear... And now, how do I teach how to read? This is why this article pretends to put on the table the knowledge about hoe the written language is learnt, how reading is conceived, how this knowledge has questioned old methods, and finally, pointing out: how do we teach, then? |
