| dc.description.abstract | La escuela reproduce la sociedad a través de la
socialización diferencial. El preescolar en Venezuela
no escapa a esta realidad tanto en el siglo
XX como en el que corre. Este artículo es producto
de la docencia-investigación-acción sobre
este tema. Los métodos utilizados son cualitativos
y como resultado tenemos que: a) actualmente
las escuelas siguen repitiendo los modelos
cristalizados en estereotipos de género que por
lo general son opuestos, complementarios y conflictivos.
b) el nuevo currículo y nueva Ley son
importantes como horizonte, pero tienen que ir
acompañados de un proceso crítico sobre la educación

Preschool in Venezuela, from the last
century up to the present, is not an exception. This
article is the product of teaching-research-action on
this subject. The methods used are qualitative and as
results we have: a) currently, schools are still repeating
crystallized models of gender stereotypes that
are often opposed, complementary and conflicting.
b) the new educational curriculum and the new legal
framework are important as a target; however they
should be supported by a critical process about the
