Abstract
La enseñanza de la geografía en Venezuela, muestra en su evaluación histórica, la presencia y vigencia de fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos que sirven para revelar el modelo pedagógico que ha orientado sus procesos de enseñanza y
aprendizaje. En consecuencia, se asume como propósito explicar las teorías pedagógicas que han sustentado el desarrollo curricular de la práctica escolar cotidiana de la geografía y su enseñanza. Con eso se busca, promover otros escenarios que
ayuden a comprender la necesidad de estudiar la realidad escolar de la enseñanza geográfica, desde otras perspectivas.
