Resumen en otro Idioma | Democracy is a system intrinsically linked to the existence and functioning of political parties (Duverger, 1957 and 1980). In Venezuela, from the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, the caudillo structure in which political action was expressed and the organizations that, with the advent of oil exploitation and modernity, began to form In political parties, that will act and survive bloody dictatorships, until they become axes of the construction of the democracy; Later, in the last two decades of the twentieth century, the party system faces a profound crisis of delegitimation. This process will lead to a Constituent National Assembly (1999) and to the formation of emerging parties: United Socialist Party of Venezuela, A New Time, First Justice, Popular Will. The objective of this work is to characterize the style of leadership in these new parties. The method used is documentary, descriptive and analytical. It is concluded that the characteristics that differentiate the leadership style of emerging parties is determined by the degree of linkage they have with the currents of militaristic or civilist thinking about government, state and relations with society. |
