dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo tiene como propósito aproximarnos brevemente a interpretar las diferentes cosmovisiones de la ética del cuidado de sí que han configurado los valores, principios y actividades cotidianas
del hombre en su devenir histórico para la búsqueda de la felicidad. Iniciando la mirada desde la concepción de la cultura grecorromana que concebía el cuidado de sí de manera integral mediante la construcción de una ética propia. Desde esta perspectiva se propone el “cultivo de sí” es decir, el cuidado de sí mismo, del otro y del ambiente a través de la auto transformación y auto corrección cotidiana del sujeto. Se comenta también la ruptura de esta mirada de la ética del cuidado de sí desde la cultura grecorromana por la ideología cristiana fundamentada en el pensamiento Aristotélico y la racionalidad tecno científica basada
en el pensamiento de Descartes entre otros, desarrollada en la modernidad y la posmodernidad.
Se argumenta, además la importancia de propiciar espacios de reflexión para la re conceptualización de la ética del cuidado de sí que propicie formas y estilos de vida desde concepciones mas integrales e
integradoras que le den mas valor y sentido a la vida individual y colectiva. | es_VE |
