Abstract
En el presente artículo
se evaluará cómo algunos
comerciantes venezolanos, desde
finales del siglo XIX hasta principios
del XX, emplearon la figura de la
suegra para la confección de sus
anuncios en periódicos de distintas
regiones del país. Apelaron a la
imagen de esta pariente, con el
fin de promocionar el precio del
producto o resaltar su efectividad.
