caudales (posteriores) empleando regla, compás y calibre vernier
y diámetro de los pezones craneales y caudales fue 6,51;
7,29; 2,53 y 2,75 cm., respectivamente.

Resumen en otro Idioma | A morphologic characterization of the udder in 542 dairy female buffaloes of two farms in the Occident of Cuba was carry out, where the animals were between one and 17 lactations, subjected to hand milking once a day was carried out. The udder and the teats were classified according to their form; the morphobiometry was made eight hours after of milking, between 20 and 90 days later to delivery the including: Depth, longitude, wide, separation, length and diameter of the fore and hind nipples using rulers, compass and vernier mocrometer or as king’s foot and measure unit the cm. The percentage in shape of udders according to the later view was of: 77.49% divide and 22.51% goat. In the lateral view prevail the pyramidal, stagger, plana and spherical with: 55.17, 28.78, 14.02 and 2.03%, respectively. The 56.46% of the nipples was conical, 31.18% cylindrical and 12.36% in bottle, while 85.42% of the teat-end was rounded, sharp 13.28% and flat 1.29%. The biometrics of the udder throws the following averages: 25.13, 38.25, 21.44, 14.28, 9.40, 8.50, 6.51, 7.29, 2.53 and 2.75 cm for the depth, longitude, wide, separation of the previous quarters, hind nipples and between both, length and diameter of the fore and hind teats respectively. It was concludes that the udder form, nipples and teat-end of these it is very variable in these animals and the morphobiometrics variable corresponded with those reported for the species. |
