Comercio canario-americano a fines del Antiguo Régimen
Abstract
Abordamos en estudio de las relaciones comerciales entre Canarias y América Latina en las postrimerías del Antiguo Régimen, cuyo marco lo establecemos aproximadamente entre 1778 y 1837, es decir, entre el establecimiento de la ley de libre comercio y la aprobación de un régimen constitucional en la Corona
española. Por los flujos descritos, podemos comprobar que los destinos preferentes de este tráfico serán Cuba y Venezuela, lo que va a marcar unas estrechas relaciones que se mantendrán en el tiempo hasta el presente.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | It is a study on the merchandise trade relationship between the Canarian Island and the Spanish-America colonies at the end of the Ancient Regime (1778-1831). Such period correspond to the bill of the Free Commerce Law and approval of the Constitutional Regime of the Spanish Monachy. The author concludes it is possible demostrates that Cuba and Venezuela were the preferred final destination of the merchandise traffic, from the Canarian Island, and it is still the same on present days. |
