| dc.description.abstract | El estudio de los cultos católicos implementados en la geografía merideña exige el análisis de las fuentes escritas, más aun
al espacio y tiempo que nos estamos circunscribiendo, la Mérida del período de fundación o establecimiento público y oficial, puesto que, permite comprender la significación de estos imaginarios sociales desaparecidos en su mayoría del ideario colectivo, al igual que, los espacios para los cuales fueron designados, pero que generaron y proyectaron tanto manifestaciones intangibles como expresiones tangibles. Desde este punto vista, la fundamentación de este trabajo se centra en vincular la historia de la religión católica y la producción artística que se pueda recrear en esta iglesia particular, marcando pauta en el devenir histórico, con más de 450 años de trayectoria. | es_VE |
