Histologically in the HE stain of the resected tumor a sporangium and several trophic cells of the fungus can be observed. A trophic cell shows a central nucleus. With this magnification the typical structures of the endospores in the sporangium with their internal corpuscles can not be seen. They are easily recognized in the fig. 51-A3.
