Resumen
Este artículo explora aspectos de la intersección entre el uso de la Inteligencia
Artificial (IA) y las organizaciones de economía social en el ámbito educativo,
especialmente asociaciones cooperativas y mutuales de educación. Mediante análisis de
revisiones de literatura y estudio de caso, se identifican retos y oportunidades que
enfrentan mutuales y cooperativas educativas en este momento histórico de la cuarta
revolución industrial. En ese contexto se documentan algunas prácticas emergentes. Se
encuentran muy pocos casos estudiados sobre usos de IA en educación con cooperativas, se
evidencia la necesidad de realizar revisiones en profundidad de literatura sobre este tema,
la IA y la metodología del Balance Social Cooperativo. Se introduce el caso de la
cooperativa READ-COOP y su plataforma Transkribus como ejemplo innovador de gestión de la
IA basado en principios cooperativos. Este ejemplo demuestra que es posible desarrollar
sistemas de IA éticos y alineados con los valores de la economía social, protegiendo los
datos de los miembros.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | This article explores aspects of the intersection between the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and social economy organizations in the field of education, especially cooperative and mutual education associations. Through analysis of literature reviews and case studies, challenges and opportunities facing mutuals and educational cooperatives at this historic moment of the fourth industrial revolution are identified. In this context, some emerging practices are documented. Very few cases have been studied on the use of AI in education with cooperatives, highlighting the need for in-depth literature reviews on this topic, AI and the Cooperative Social Balance methodology. The case of the READ-COOP cooperative and its Transkribus platform is introduced as an innovative example of AI management based on cooperative principles. This example demonstrates that it is possible to develop ethical AI systems that are aligned with the values of the social economy, while protecting members’ data. |
