dc.description.abstractEl artículo tuvo como objetivo reflexionar acerca del libre acceso a la información científica. El libre acceso a todo tipo de información no siempre está al alcance de la sociedad. Basta recordar que la atribución de la creencia de que son los dueños del discernimiento atesorado desarrollado a través de los años no es nueva. Además, en cuanto a la naturaleza del libre acceso a la información debe tenerse en cuenta que la ciencia fue una práctica abierta desde sus inicios, por lo que, la información académica es autónoma en un ambiente colaborativo entre investigadores y editores, es necesario considerar la difusión abierta y libre.es_VE
