dc.description.abstractAnte la acelerada y preocupante pérdida de la memoria histórica y geocientífica de Venezuela, se realizó esta investigación de tipo documental. Se basó en la búsqueda, análisis crítico e interpretación de datos secundarios obtenidos de prensa de circulación nacional, artículos de revistas y textos de referencia obligada. Como resultado se observó que numerosa información vital ha sido suprimida en un país de memoria corta, sin conciencia histórica y que consagra el olvido en lo colectivo. También se tiene en el pasado reciente y en la actualidad, la existencia de toda una serie de hechos que atentan en contra del futuro de la nación, por la continua supresión de conocimientos adquiridos de especial relevancia; sin embargo, se hace hincapié en que aún existe información científica valiosa que se debe cuidar y preservar, pues ello resulta clave en lo que será el arduo y difícil camino de recuperación del país.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1A documentary research, dedicated to the accelerated and worrying loss of the historical and geoscientific memory of Venezuela is carried out from a critical insight. It is based on the search, critical analysis and interpretation of secondary data obtained from national circulation newspapers, magazine articles and texts from required reference. As a result, significant information has been suppressed in a country with a short memory, without historical consciousness, enshrining the forgetfulness in the population. Additionally, there is a whole series of events, in the recent past and present, threatening the future of the nation, due to the continuous suppression of special relevance acquired knowledge. However, it’s important to highlight that there is still valuable scientific information that must be kept, cared and preserve, as a key in the arduous and difficult road to recover the country.es_VE
