| dc.description.abstract | El año 2011 se completó un proyecto de extensión usando ladrillos ecológicos (LADECOL)
para la construcción de un espacio social en la Facultad de Ciencias Forestales y Ambientales de
la Universidad de Los Andes, el cual ha tenido afluencia de visitantes y ha recibido diversos
comentarios. El espacio construido tiene utilidad y es visto desde variados puntos de vista:
conservacionista, ambientalista, arquitectural, comunitario, social y otros, los que se consideran
valiosos para replicar o sugerir modificaciones al sistema empleado. Se considera importante
realizar una evaluación de las opiniones y comentarios de los diversos actores, según el tipo de
visitante, para lo que se aplica una metodología de identificación/priorización de los grupos de
interés.
Se categorizaron 8 grupos y su interés fue valorado en concordancia al nivel de importancia del
proyecto y de su disposición en relación al proyecto. Los resultados refieren el impacto
significativo dentro de grupos de actores de la sociedad merideña y nacional. La participación y
motivación generada por el proyecto en el entorno intrínseco y extrínseco de la facultad es
significativa. Los grupos de interés reflejan que el proyecto posee características apropiadas para
implementar la educación continua ambiental con énfasis en el manejo de los residuos y desechos

construction of a social space in the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Sciences of the
University of Los Andes, which has had an influx of visitors and received various comments.
The built space has utility and is seen from various points of view: conservationist,
environmental, architectural, community, social and others, which are considered valuable to
replicate or suggest modifications to the system used. It is considered important to make an
evaluation of the opinions and comments of the various stakeholders, depending on the type of
visitor or interest group, for which a methodology of identification / prioritization of interest
groups was applied.
Eight groups were categorized and their interest was valued in accordance with the importance
level of the project and their disposition in relation to the project. The results refer significant
impact within groups of actors around Mérida city also at national level. The participation and
motivation generated by the project in the intrinsic and extrinsic environment of the faculty is
significant. Stakeholders reflect that the project has appropriate characteristics to implement
continuous environmental education with an emphasis on the management of waste and plastic
