dc.description.abstractEn el contenido del artículo se pretende una aproximación al conocimiento que tienen estudiantes universitarios acerca de la lectura. Para ello se sostuvo una entrevista semiestructurada con 15 de éstos, seleccionados aleatoriamente, pertenecientes a la Escuela de Educación de la Facultad de Humanidades y Educación de la Universidad de Los Andes. Mérida. El análisis de los resultados es un llamado a trabajar la lectura, en los espacios de formación universitaria, para entrar a la sociedad del conocimiento y a la comprensión del mundo y, a su vez, egresar docentes que sean lectores autónomos, analíticos y críticos para trabajar en los subsistemas que conforman el Sistema Educativo Venezolano.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This article intends an approximation to the knowledge that have university students about reading. To do this it was stated a semi-structure interview whit 15 of them, randomly selected, belonging to the School of Education of the Faculty of Humanities and Education at the University of The Andes. Merida. The analysis of the results is a call to work the reading, in the spaces of university formation, to enter the knowledge society and the understanding of the world and, in turn, to graduate teachers that are autonomous readers, analytical and critics to work in the subsystems that make up the Venezuelan Education System.es_VE
