Resumen
Este artículo trata sobre la representación social agraria de la Venezuela del siglo
XIX, específicamente en la lírica nacional, entre 1830 y 1870. Dicha representación,
sin embargo, se origina en la época prehispánica de nuestra tierra; comienza a
conformarse durante la Colonia; se replantea en la Gran Colombia; y se consolida en
los primeros cuarenta años de la nación venezolana. Para ello esta exposición versará
sucesivamente sobre el agua como símbolo del mundo indígena caribeño-amazónico;
la visión paradisíaca y la feracidad de Tierra Firme; Colombia y el proyecto agrario
bellista; y la representación social agraria en la poesía agraria nacional (1830-1870).

This representation, however, originates in the pre-Hispanic period of our land; begins to conform during the Colony; is reconsidered in the Gran Colombia; and is consolidated in the first forty years of the Venezuelan nation. For this purpose, this exhibition will deal successively with Water as a symbol of the Caribbean-Amazonian indigenous world; the paradisiacal vision and the feracity of Tierra Firme; Colombia and the bellista agrarian project; and social agrarian representation in national agrarian poetry (1830-1870). |
