dc.description.abstractA través del estudio del Padrón de Buenos Aires de 1744 se puede llegar a conocer la estructura socioeconómica de la ciudad, y por tanto de los hogares y familias que la habitaban. Se hace hincapié en una sociedad multiétnica, elaborando un análisis completo de los hogares y las familias de etnia diferente a la blanca. El trabajo pone de manifiesto toda una serie de costumbres, prácticas de convivencia, matrimonio y solidaridad en una población tan diversa como era la porteña.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1By studying the Register of Buenos Aires of 1744, it is possible to get to know the socioeconomic structure of the city, and therefore the type of households and families that lived there. This study highlights a multi-ethnic society, and develops a comprehensive analysis of households and families of nonwhite ethnicity. This article reveals a series of customs, practices of cohabitation, marriage and solidarity in an extremely diverse population typical of this port city.es_VE
