Este es un ensayo que propone una lectura sobre el encuentro entre dos poetas, uno lationamericano, el escritor colombiano David Mejía Velilla, el otro hindú, Rabindranath Tagore, por medio de la creación poética. Encuentro que se inicia cuando Mejía Velilla, siendo un joven adolescente, leyó el poemario de Tagore titulado La Cosecha, y sintió un profundo interés por la poesía, que le provocó un entusiasmo creador que perduró toda su vida.

Meeting that started when Mejia Vellila, as a young teenager, read the Tagore`s book of poems entitled Fruit Gathering, and felt a deep interest in poetry, that caused a creative enthusiasm that lasted all his life. |
