| dc.description.abstract | Se trata de un primer
acercamiento al tema de la
arquitectura religiosa en la ciudad
de San Cristóbal durante el siglo
XX. Se analizan los templos más
importantes, doce en total, para los
cuales se dan algunas noticias sobre
su diseño y construcción, así como
una descripción de sus principales
características. Esto como parte
de las actividades contempladas
en la cátedra de Historia de la
Arquitectura I, dictada en la carrera
de Arquitectura, en la Universidad
Nacional Experimental del Táchira.
Nuestro propósito es complementar
el programa de la asignatura
con el estudio de los casos más
representativos de la arquitectura

to the subject of religious
architecture in the city of San
Cristóbal (Venezuela), during the
20th Century. Here, we analyze the
design and construction of twelve
temples; as well we study and
describe their main characteristics.
This research is related to the
activities considered in the study
course program of History of
Architecture I in the “Universidad
Nacional Experimental del
Táchira”. Our purpose is to
supplement the information of
the subject´s program by studying
