| es_VE |

dc.description.abstract1 | The thought of Colombian writer Nicolás Gómez Dávila questions the foundations of modernity, by revindicating metaphysical realism and opposing the principle of autonomy, which sets the foundations for the Enlightenment project. The path set in the scholia, notes and texts leads natural reason to metaphysics, to fall into natural theology, confirming the direction outlined by the perennial philosophy of Plato, Aristotle and the great medieval authors. From a critical perspective, this article aims to verify whether the gomezdavilian ideas allow to rebuild the broken bridge between the tradition of classical philosophy and modern ideas, in order to restore its place to reason and reality structures, whose consistent inquiry gives way to the questioning for the transcendence, enabling a new dialogue between faith and reason, between philosophy and theology, between science and religion, which seem disconnected from the Aufklärung (Enlightenment), and further, since the uprising of the suspicion masters as a starting point and authority in a postontological, postmetaphysical and postmoral context. On the other hand, the tasks done and described in these pages have as main goal to present, from the gomezdavilian thought, the philosophical need to set the foundations for a straight metaphysical anthropology in a clear idea about God, without which it is impossible to have a clear idea about the man. This is what we call theological humanism. | es_VE |
