| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación, enmarcada en la noción de parresía
(hablar franco) en la antigüedad griega y romana, marcará
sustancialmente la relación maestro-discípulo por más de
cinco siglos en Grecia. Michel Foucault, en sus últimos
años de producción intelectual, dedicó su atención en el
estudio de esta práctica del mundo antiguo como la base
esencial de la relación del sujeto con la verdad de su discurso
y con el entorno que lo rodeaba. Para ahondar en
el tema, estudiaremos tres obras del filósofo francés: El
gobierno de los vivientes, La Hermenéutica del Sujeto,
Tecnologías del yo y El Gobierno de sí y de los otros. En
todas estas, el punto de partida será la profundización en
las relaciones entre el sujeto como operador de verdad y su
maestro como conductor hacia la verdad misma. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | This investigation deals with the ancient Greek and Roman
notion of parrhesia (to speak frankly) that significantly influenced
the master-disciple relationship for more than five
centuries in Greece. Michel Foucault, during his late intellectual
production, devoted himself to study this ancient
world’s practice as the essential basis of the relationship
between the subject, the truth of his/her discourse and the
surrounding environment. In order to delve into this topic,
three works by Michel Foucault are studied: Hermeneutics
of the Self, Technologies of the Self and The Government
of Self and Others. The starting point for these three works
is the deepening of the relations between the subject as a
truth operator and his/her master seen as a guide to truth
