Resumen
Os autores analisam o conceito de filosofia da medicina proposto pelos bioeticistas Edmund D. Pellegrino e David C. Thomasma. Abordam também o que consideram ser os aspetos mais relevantes de uma ontologia da medicina e fenomenologia da doença, essencias para uma melhor compreensão da relação singular médico-paciente.
