Resumen en otro Idioma | The present investigation has as a general objective to evaluate the relationship between the investigation and the permanent formation of the professorship in the education career with the purpose of improving the quality of superior education, in UNESR, «Núcleo Valera» and «ULA-NURR.» So professorship preparation is important with emphasis in the investigative productivity which will be able to link the investigation with the transmission of knowledge and to generate social relevancy in the university. The focus is holistic with an integrative level, evaluative type and correlation with a transactional field design and, the population is conformed by 164 professors with a stratified proportional sample, 37 for UNESR «Núcleo Valera» and 79 for «ULA-NURR». The technique used was the survey and a questionnaire as an instrument, completing with a structured interview, directed toward teachers of the education career. With regard to the validity of the instrument, the trial used 7experts. Their reliability was obtained starting from the application of a pilot test to a population of 15 professors, and it was calculated by the correlation coefficient of Spearman. After analyzing the data using descriptive statistic and correlation, we concluded that a positive correlation exists, which means that as the investigation increases the permanent formation increases; also weaknesses were detected in the permanent formation and the investigation, such as: conceptual orientations (technological environment) and in the investigative productivity (publications, investigation projects, formation of new generation; participation as referee, editorial committee member of magazines). Likewise it was found existence of development models (autonomous, upgrade, qualification and the professor’s academic level), therefore theoretical and methodological guidelines were generated to strengthen the professor’s permanent formation. |
