Resumen
En este artículo se revisan las normas sobre Propiedad Intelectual en las constituciones venezolanas desde 1830 hasta 1999 y se aborda en perspectiva el intento de reforma al artículo 98 de la Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela de 1999, planteando en el 2007. Orienta la reflexión sobre la posibilidad de una nueva concepción constitucional de la Propiedad Intelectual en Venezuela ¿Qué rol jugaría dentro del capítulo de los derechos culturales la disposición según la cual todos tenemos derecho a participar libremente de la vida cultural de la comunidad, previsto en el artículo 27,1 de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos y su relación con el principio universal de que el autor tiene el derecho exclusivo de explotar su obra en la forma que le plazca y sacar de ello beneficios?
