dc.description.abstractLos constituyentes químicos del aceite esencial, obtenido por hidrodestilación, de las hojas de Myrcianthes fragrans (Sw) McVaught recolectadas en Febrero 2008 en el Estado Táchira- Venezuela, 0,08% de rendimiento, fueron estudiados mediante el análisis de Cromatografía de Gases-Masas. Se identificaron cuarenta y tres compuestos que constituyen el 91,8% del aceite. Los siete compuestos mayoritarios fueron:B-cariofileno (11,5%), mirceno (8,9%), B-felandreno+limoneno (8,7%), A-humuleno (6,7%), A-copaeno-8-ol (6,7%), y A-selineno (5,3%).es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The chemical constituents of the essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation from the leaves of Myrcianthes fragrans (Sw) McVaught collected in February 2008 in Táchira State-Venezuela, yielding 0.08% of the oil were studied by GC-MS analysis. Forty three components (91.8% of the sample) were identified. The main constituents were B-caryophyllene (11.5%), myrcene (8.9%), B-phellandrene+limonene (8.7 %), A-humulene (6.7%),A-copaene-8-ol (6.7%), and A-selinene (5.3%).es_VE
