dc.description.abstractLa presente monografía trata los estudios militares en Venezuela durante el gobierno de Juan Vicente Gómez. Su principal protagonista es la población estudiantil que inició sus estudios en la Academia Militar entre 1910 y 1935. Se presentan los resultados del análisis de la Base de Datos elaborada del Libro de Ingreso y Egreso de la Academia Militar en este periodo, la cual reúne toda la información de los cadetes que ingresaron en el periodo estudiado. Por último, se dan a conocer cartas de la época historiadas en el Archivo Histórico de Miraflores; piezas extraordinarias que conjuntamente con el Libro de Ingreso y Egreso.., permite mostrar las particularidades de la reorganización de los estudios militares en Venezuela a partir de 1910, con la reforma Militar iniciada por Juan Vicente Gómez.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This research deals with the military studies in Venezuela during the Juan Vicente Gómez regime. The students who started the Venezuelan Military Academy between 1910 and 1935 are the major figures of this research. It is shown the outcome of the analysis of the database elaborated from the admissions and alumni book of the Venezuelan Military Academy during this period. This book gathers all the information concerning the cadets who joined the academy during the aforementioned period. In addition, this research publicizes letters belonging to the Historical Archives of Miraflores. These letters as well as the admissions and alumni book of the Venezuelan Military Academy are considered as exceptional items. There can be found special features of a new organisation of the military studies in Venezuela as a result of the military reform started by Juan Vicente Gómez in 1910.es_VE
