Abstract
El propósito de este trabajo consiste en realizar una breve descripción de la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales, presentada por Moscovici y exponer que la misma ofrece un marco referencial provechoso en el estudio de algunos temas educativos, entre ellos: la incidencia que tienen las representaciones sociales sobre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la Geografía.
