dc.description.abstractEl aceite esencial de Ruta graveolens L. (Rutaceae) que crece en Mérida-Venezuela, fue obtenido por hidrodestilación de las partes aéreas frescas, con un rendimiento del 0,1% (mL/g). El aceite fue analizado por cromatografía de gases (CG) y cromatografía de gases acoplada a espectrometría de masas (CG-EM). Se identificaron catorce componentes, que constituyen el 94,4% del aceite, entre los cuales se encontraron dos compuestos mayoritarios: 2-undecanona (43,0%) y 2-nonanona (33,5%). Hasta donde tenemos conocimiento, no existen estudios previos sobre la composición química del aceite esencial de R. graveolens en Venezuela.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The essential oil of Ruta graveolens L. (Rutaceae), growing at Mérida-Venezuela, was obtained by hydrodistillation of fresh aerial parts, yielding 0.1% (mL/g). The oil was analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS). Fourteen compounds were identified, which represented 94.4% of the total oil. The most abundant constituents were undecan-2-one (43.0%) and nonan-2-one (33.5%). As far as we know, there are no previous reports on the chemical composition of the essential oil of R. graveolens in Venezuela.es_VE
