dc.description.abstractDiorama (2021) de Ana Teresa Torres, Ficciones asesinas (2021) de Krina Ber y “La ejecución” (2020) de Carolina Lozada son ficciones distópicas que invitan a pensar en los mecanismos totalitarios del poder. A partir de las decisiones que toman sus personajes, hacemos una tipología de las respuestas humanas en Venezuela: involucrado, disidente, inmóvil y homo sacer (Agamben, 1998). No son categorías definitivas ni excluyentes, se puede pertenecer a varias de forma simultánea o formar parte de una y luego dejar de hacerlo. Así, estos relatos son una forma de memoria, pero también de traducción del absurdo que quiebra el sentido de realidad en el país.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1Diorama (2021) by Ana Teresa Torres, Ficciones asesinas (2021) by Krina Ber, and “La ejecución” (2020) by Carolina Lozada are dystopian fictions that invite us to reflect on the totalitarian mechanisms of power. Based on the decisions made by their characters, we crea te a typology of options for the Venezuelan people: involved, dissident, immobile, and homo sacer (Agamben, 1998). These are not definitive or exclusive categories; one can belong to several simultaneously or be part of one and then cease to be so. Thus, these stories are a form of memory, but also a translation of the absurdity that shatters the sense of reality in Venezuela.es_VE
