dc.description.abstractEste artículo pretende analizar el papel de los Institutos Confucio como una herramienta del poder blando chino en América Latina entre 2006 y 2024. A través del estudio de su estructura, funcionamiento y actividades, se examina cómo estas instituciones promueven la lengua y cultura china, en el marco de la proyección internacional del país asiático. El trabajo también contextualiza su desarrollo en relación con el ascenso global de China y compara su desempeño con otras entidades culturales como la Alianza Francesa y el Instituto Goethe. dc.description.abstract1This article aims to analyze the role of Confucius Institutes as a tool of Chinese soft power in Latin America between 2006 and 2024. By studying their structure, operations, and activities, the article examines how these institutions promote Chinese language and culture within the framework of China's international projection. The paper also contextualizes their development in relation to China's global rise and compares their performance with that of other cultural entities, such as the Alliance Française and the Goethe-Institut.es_VE
