| dc.description.abstract | Desde la disciplina de Relaciones Internacionales y sus enfoques teóricos clásicos,
como el realismo político y el neorrealismo, el poder de un Estado determina
su capacidad para mantener su supervivencia y defender su interés nacional; las
capacidades materiales, primordialmente las militares, determinarán esa facultad de
defensa. Bajo esta perspectiva teórica, el texto conceptualiza el poder y la
seguridad, aborda el poder militar japonés y su estrategia de seguridad y realiza una
investigación sobre cuáles son los principales retos que presenta la seguridad
nacional de Japón.
