| dc.description.abstract | 1857 es un año clave para la reformulación de las relaciones entre literatura y
sociedad. En este
trabajo me remonto a los casos judiciales de Flaubert y Baudelaire ante el Ministerio
Público
francés para mostrarlos como suerte de permutación en el conjunto ordenado de
discursos morales,
legales y sexuales que configura el entresiglo 1857-1910. Luego de Madame Bovary y Las
Flores
del mal la crítica podrá hablar de la “Invención del narrador” como institución aparte
del autor, y se
producirá una transformación profunda en la percepción de elementos constitutivos de
la noción de
arte como representación, naturaleza y artificio; dando como resultado el surgimiento
del

I go back to the court cases of Flaubert and Baudelaire before the French Public
Ministry to show
them as a sort of permutation in the ordered set of moral, legal and sexual discourses
that take
place between 1857 and 1900. After Madame Bovary and The Flowers of Evil, critics will
be able
to speak of the ‘Narrator's Invention’ as an institution apart from the author, and a
profound
transformation will take place in the perception of constituent elements of the notion
of art as
creation, nature and artifice that will result in the emergence of naturalistic and
