dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se hace un abordaje sobre un corpus seleccionado en torno al segundo bloque argumental, específicamente en dos textos literarios venezolanos, a saber, Bolívar en vivo, de Francisco Herrera Luque; y La esposa del Dr. Thorne, de Denzil Romero. La desmitificación pasa por el desmontaje de un mito, que en este caso es el de Simón Bolívar como personaje heroico, que tuvo su mayor énfasis en el siglo XIX y que se encuentra reflejado tanto en la historia como en la literatura, las artes plásticas y la escultura. Las temáticas que se toman para el análisis son: desmitificación del personaje mediante elementos eróticos; personaje desencantado y la memoria como recurso para huir del presente; y el cuerpo enfermo: imagen de la salud deteriorada del personaje.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1In this article an approach is made on a selected corpus around the second plot block, specifically in two Venezuelan literary texts, namely, Bolívar en vivo, by Francisco Herrera Luque; and La esposa del Dr. Thorne, by Denzil Romero. The demystification goes through the dismantling of a myth, which in this case is that of Simón Bolívar as a heroic character, which had its greatest emphasis in the 19th century and which is reflected both in history and in literature, the plastic arts and the sculpture. The themes that are taken for the analysis are: demystification of the character through erotic elements; disenchanted character and memory as a resource to escape from the present; and the sick body: image of the character's deteriorated health.es_VE
