| dc.description.abstract | Nuestro trabajo discurre brevemente el devenir del concepto de república desde
la Antigüedad clásica hasta finales del siglo XVIII, echando mano de algunas
herramientas de la Historia Conceptual con la finalidad de observar cómo
dicho concepto se fue consolidando a través del tiempo, analizando aquellos
valores o componentes que lo han constituido así como también las variantes
más significativas presentada en todos esos siglos. Partiendo de la Antigüedad
clásica, pasando por la Edad Media hasta llegar al período Moderno, resaltando
algunos aspectos de su aparición en España y en sus colonias americanas a
finales del siglo XVIII, concretamente en el intento revolucionario conocido
con el nombre de Conspiración de Gual y España (1797), uno de los primeros
proyectos en nuestro territorio donde se ondearan las ideas republicanas. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | Our work passes brief to develop of the concept of republic from the classic
Antiquity until ends of the 18th century, beginning I spring from some tools
of the Conceptual History with the purpose of observing how the above
mentioned concept was consolidated across the time, analyzing those values or
components that have constituted it as well as also the most significant variants
presented in all these centuries. Departing from the classic Antiquity, happening
for the Middle Ages up to coming to the Modern period, highlighting some
aspects of his appearance in Spain and in his American colonies at the end
of the 18th century, concretely in the revolutionary attempt known with the
name of Gual’s Conspiracy and España first (1797), one of the projects in our
