dc.description.abstractEn pocas páginas justifico por qué impresiones, durante varios años la figura de Gustavo González Villanueva ha ocupado mi atención, especialmente en su epopeya contemporánea de “Loa en Antigua Guatemala”. A su vez, con miras a lograr impacto en lectores potenciales, explico cómo he procedido con mi libro ¡Antigua-la-Viva¡: confrontando la obra del guatemalteco con “Brujas-la-Muerta” del belga Georges Rodenbach, argumento que, si bien ambas tienen impresionantes valores artísticos, la centroamericana gana en mensaje espiritual y por ende merece ser igualmente conocida.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1In a few pages I justify what kind of impressions motivated my attention for several years concerning the figure of Gustavo González Villanueva, especially in its contemporary epic “Loa in Antigua Guatemala”. In order to achieve impact on potential readers, I explain how I proceeded with my book Antigua-la-Viva: confronting the work of Guatemalan with Bruges-la-Morte”, of the Belgian author Georges Rodenbach, I argue that although both have impressive artistic values, the Central-American writer wins in deepness of his spiritual message and therefore should be equally known.es_VE
