dc.description.abstractLas relaciones entre Venezuela y África se inician en 1950, cuando se establecen nexos con Egipto y Etiopía. Desde entonces el diálogo ha estado marcado por una actividad diplomática respaldada por el reconocimiento a las nacientes repúblicas y por las luchas en foros multilaterales por la plena independencia de este continente. Es bajo esta dinámica que nuestro país establece vínculos con la República Federal de Nigeria en 1965, manteniendo un nivel de relaciones permanente desde este momento hasta nuestros días, el cual intentaremos analizar en su devenir histórico.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1elations between Venezuela and Africa were established in 1950, when ties were forged with Egypt and Ethiopia. Ever since, a diplomatic activity based on the recognition of the new republics and the struggles in multilateral forums in demand of the full independence of this continent has underlied dialogue. It was as part of this dynamics that in 1965 our country established links with the Federal Republic of Nigeria, maintaining ongoing relations ever since—the historical development of which this paper attempts to analyze.es_VE
