| dc.description.abstract | Cinco décadas de andares, esplendores y dispersión, hacen de la Nueva Canción
Latinoamericana un tema ávido de matices que la hacen susceptible de ser
estudiada, ya sea desde la disciplina histórica, literaria o artística. Actualmente, en
Latinoamérica quedan huellas de este movimiento idealista de los años sesenta y
setenta, período representativo de la eclosión de esta expresión musical en varios
países como Argentina, Brasil, Cuba, Chile, Venezuela, Uruguay y Bolivia, en los
cuales se unieron agrupaciones, cantautores y poetas en movimientos vinculados a
ideales revolucionarios como la liberación cultural, el anticolonialismo y el apoyo

Song a topic eager for shades that make it capable of being studied from the
historical, literary or artistic disciplines. Nowadays, in Latin America there are left
prints of this idealistic movement from the sixties and seventies, representative
period of the rise of this musical expression in several countries as Argentina, Brazil,
Cuba, Chile, Venezuela, Uruguay and Bolivia, in which there were joined groups,
singersongwriters and poets in movements linked to revolutionary idealssuch as
the cultural liberation, the anticolonialism and the support to the working and
