| dc.description.abstract | En el gobierno de Eleazar López Contreras (1936-1941) se produjo una
transformación sustantiva de los contextos sociales de Venezuela que permitió
su modernización. Ello fue posible tanto por la presión ejercida por la población
como por la intención del aparato gubernamental de atender las distintas
demandas. En consecuencia, el presente estudio se interesa por precisar los
organismos creados o renovados que permitieron modificar las condiciones de
salud de los venezolanos. A tal fin se utilizan algunos constructos del enfoque

| dc.description.abstract1 | In the government of Eleazar Lopez Contreras (1936-1941) there was a
substantial transformation of the social contexts of Venezuela that allowed its
modernization. This was made possible both by the pressure exerted by the
population as well as the intention of the government apparatus to meet the
various demands. Accordingly, the present study is interested in specifying
the bodies created or renewed that allowed to modify the health conditions of
Venezuelans. For this purpose some constructs of the neo-institutional approach
