| es_VE |

dc.description.abstract1 | In many cases upper anterior teeth have lost root canal structure and extensive coronary artery (young teeth sobreinstrumentados, decayed), representing a difficult challenge for the clinician to decide whether to use a parallel pin and fill the space with cement, or use a cone that fits closely into the prepared canal, so that, the restored tooth is able to continue to function properly in the mouth without fracture. The objective of this study was to compare the resistance to fracture of roots with large ducts supplemented with different reconstructores materials and fiberglass bolts. With an Instron machine, was evaluatedin vitro the fracture toughness of a total of 30 roots, 10 internally supplemented with type II glass ionomer Fuji ® and 10 supplemented with resins to reconstruct parachor ® cores, compared with a control group, where the roots were not extended and the bolts were cemented with resin cement Variolink ®. The results stated that there was no statistically significant differences between groups, concluding that the two types of materials behave similarly to the group without internal supplementation. | es_VE |
