| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo propone una revisión crítica de los hechos de modernización política durante el siglo XX en Venezuela. Comienza interrogando el problema de las periodizaciones históricas, en relación particularmente al inicio del siglo XX en nuestro país. Pasa revista al surgimiento de los partidos políticos a partir de la conformación de la Asociación General de Estudiantes e indica el rol que los partidos han jugado en la modernización democrática del país. Evalúa los inicios del gobierno de Hugo Chávez Frías y las nuevas opciones políticas que inaugura. | es_VE |
