dc.description.abstractAl investigar sobre la cultura científica y tecnológica que se apuntala en educación superior, es preciso adentrarse en el espacio de las políticas públicas que se han engendrado sobre ciencia y tecnología, para develar cómo ellas han influenciado la movilización de representaciones en dicho ámbito. Se encuentra en esta construcción teórica, sustentada en una investigación documental, que a pesar de haberse diseñado planes para legitimar la investigación científica y afianzar los procesos de generación de conocimientos, la situación de inestabilidad política y económica de los gobiernos venezolanos y los niveles de burocracia y conflictividad, han impedido el total enraizamiento de la actividad científica y tecnológica en su seno, influyendo además otros factores: la falta de continuidad de programas, el carente auspicio sistemático a las instituciones de investigación y el deficiente establecimiento de espacios y medios de difusión.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1When investigating on the scientific and technological culture that underpins in higher education, we must go into the area of public policies that have spawned on science and technology in order to reveal how they have influenced the mobilization of representations in this area. It is in this theoretical construct based on documentary research that, despite plans designed to legitimize scientific research and strengthen the processes of knowledge generation, the situation of political and economic instability of the Venezuelan government and levels of bureaucracy and unrest, have prevented the grounding of the total scientific and technological activity within it, influencing also other factors: the lack of continuity of programs, the absence of systematic support to research institutions and the inadequate establishment of spaces and media.es_VE
