Los conceptos de propiedad y liberalismo se relacionan en tanto el segundo
convierte al primero en derecho inviolable y sagrado, pues forma parte de los
derechos naturales. Describimos en el presente trabajo, las discordancias históricas
que se presentan, cuando se proclama un Estado Moderno Liberal marcado por
la continuidad de algunos rasgos heredados de su origen Tradicional. El derecho
de propiedad, por su parte, es el fundamento del liberalismo económico. Aspecto
crucial para nuestra realidad histórica marcada por una economía agropecuaria y
con severos conflictos en torno a la propiedad de la tierra.
