Sobre la base de los planteamientos de Laughlin, la contabilidad se concibe
como una disciplina conformada por tres componentes, manifestados en el mundo real a partir de la investigación, la política y la práctica. A diferencia de otras ciencias, en las que los postulados teóricos generados en la investigación fundamentan la práctica profesional, en contabilidad se presenta
un comportamiento distinto de los componentes mencionados, pues primero desde el campo político se emiten las normas y regulaciones; posteriormente los fundamentos legales se aplican en la práctica; y finalmente se solicita la participación de los investigadores, para el análisis y evaluación de las normas a través del proceso de auscultación. De este modo, pareciera que en la ciencia contable se presenta un distanciamiento entre el discurso teórico formulado desde el campo de la investigación, y el discurso de la regulación presentado
por los actores del componente político. Considerando los argumentos expuestos, el artículo presenta como objetivo analizar la postura de Laughlin sobre el funcionamiento de los componentes, político e investigativo de la contabilidad. Metodológicamente, el estudio se desarrolló sobre la base de
un análisis hermenéutico de los trabajos realizados por Laughlin (2011) y Broadbent & Laughlin (2013), en el campo de la investigación, la política y la práctica contable. Las conclusiones de la investigación revelan la necesidad
de fomentar una transformación del funcionamiento de los componentes de
la profesión contable en el mundo real, de tal manera que la investigación, la
política y la práctica contribuyan con la evolución de la disciplina.

Resumen en otro Idioma | About the base of the Laughlin approaches, the accounting is conceived as a discipline conformed by three components, manifested in the real world starting from of the investigation, the politic and the practice. To difference from another sciences, in which the theoretical postulates generated in the investigation are based the professional practice, in accounting its presents a different behavior of the components mentioned, then first from the politic field it is issued the rules and the regulations; later the legal fundaments are apply in the practice; and finally it requested the participation of the investigators, for the analysis and evaluation of the rules through the auscultation process. From this way, it seems that in the accounting science it presents a distancing between the theoretical speech formulated from the field of the investigation, and the regulation speech presented by the actors of the politic component. Considering the arguments exposed, the article presents as objective to analyze the Laughlin’s posture about the functioning of the components, politic and investigative of the accounting. Methodologically, the research it developed about the base of the hermeneutic analysis of the works made by Laughlin (2011) and Broadbent & Laughlin (2013), in the field of the investigation, the politic and accounting practice. The conclusions of the investigation reveals the need of to foment a transformation of the functioning of the components of the accounting profession in the real world, such that way the investigation, the politic and the practice contribute with the evolution of the discipline. |
