Abstract
El propósito de este trabajo es estudiar las
relaciones entre amor – erotismo, poesía y rebelión
– revolución a partir de algunos ensayos de Octavio
Paz. Sabemos que estos fueron tópicos centrales en
el romanticismo que resignificaron las vanguardias
artísticas y literarias del siglo XX. Paz, que fue
lector asiduo de los grandes poetas románticos
y de filósofos y ensayistas como Marx, Sartre
u Ortega y Gasset, estudiosos de estos tópicos o
fenómenos, replantea desde nuevas perspectivas
estas relaciones medulares en la cultura y en la
literatura moderna.
