Abstract
En este artículo analizamos algunos de los aspectos más destacados de la novela Lucía, de Emilio Constantino Guerrero. Para ello estudiaremos el contexto
de la obra, el tema, el ambiente, los personajes principales, el lenguaje y las costumbres venezolanas presentes en ella, así como los posibles
sentimientos que ésta despertaría en el lector actual y la razón por la cual consideramos que este autor tachirense eligió dicho nombre para su historia de amor.
