Beneficios fiscales de las sociedades cooperativas en Venezuela

Abstract
En la última década (período 2000-2010) en Venezuela, el número de
sociedades cooperativas ha aumentado notablemente. Esto debido al énfasis
por parte del Estado en promover la creación de estas asociaciones inmersas
en la economía social, otorgando a las mismas diversos beneficios fiscales. La
presente investigación tiene como objetivo, analizar los beneficios fiscales de
las sociedades cooperativas en Venezuela. Se concluye, que las cooperativas
poseen varios beneficios fiscales, otorgados por la república y los municipios,
establecidos en cada una de los instrumentos legales que rigen la materia,
fundamentalmente exenciones y exoneraciones, entre las que se destaca, la
exención de impuesto sobre la renta como la más significativa, debiendo
cumplir con una serie de deberes formales para su aprovechamiento.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | In Venezuela, in the last decade (2000-2010), the number of cooperative societies has been increase markedly. This might be the consequence of the state government effort to promote the creation of this type of societies inside the social economy, giving them some tax benefits. The propose of this article was to analyze this tax benefits. The conclusions show that cooperative society has several tax benefits, given by the state government and the municipality government. These are present in each one of the tax laws, such as tax exemption and tax dispensation. It might be said that the most important is related to the earnings tax. This type of societies must satisfy some formalities to be able to take advantage of these benefits. |
