Iª Etapa de
educación Básica del Colegio Casa Hogar «Monseñor Carrillo»
del Municipio Trujillo, Estado Trujillo.

Resumen en otro Idioma | The crisis of values that nowadays affects Venezuelan education justifies the urgent attempt to train professors with new pedagogic instruments that explicitly favor the reflexive and creative attitude of children and teenagers. This process is aimed at developing thinking abilities that allow them to learn by themselves and therefore have them reflect on the values that should build up life as good citizens. In the framework of this research, we propose the implementation of the Methodology of the Program of Philosophy for Children as an educative strategy for the development of professors in terms of community values and solidarity. The main objective is to encourage children to think by themselves and create in them a creative and critical attitude that ends up in a significant learning process. This process thus allows children to assume own and collective values through discussions and dialogues in a classroom that turns into a community for investigation between students and professors. The following research work is qualitative and is based on empiric case studies in the 3rd year of the First Stage of Elementary education (Section A) at Colegio Casa Hogar «Monseñor Carrillo» in Trujillo, State of Trujillo. |
