dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se estudia la incidencia del síndrome de desgaste profesional en una muestra de trabajadores rurales del estado Mérida. Para su evaluación se utilizó el Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Los resultados arrojaron la presencia del síndrome en este colectivo en los siguientes porcentajes: nivel bajo (16%), nivel medio (59%) y nivel alto (25%). Se estudió el efecto de algunas variables sobre las tres dimensiones del desgaste profesional. Las variables sociológicas y profesionales relacionadas con estas subescalas fueron: el ocio, el descanso, el estado civil y la edad. Otras variables sociológicas y de perfil docente como el grado académico, las horas de trabajo, el número de alumnos, el género (sexo), la antigüedad, no muestran relación con el grado de desgaste profesional.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1Here we study the incidence of the Professional Exhaustion syndrome in a sample of rural workers of the state Merida. For assessment, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) was used. The results point to the presence of the syndrome in this collective in the following percentages: low level (16%), intermediate level (59%) and high level (25%). We also studied the effect of certain variables on the three dimensions of Professional Exhaustion. The sociological and professional variables related to these sub-scales were: The leisure, the rest, the marital status and the age. Other sociological variables and of educational profile as the academic degree, the working hours, the number of pupils, the gender, the antiquity, do not show relation with the degree of professional exhaustion.es_VE
