Abstract
Estudio lexicográfico de la voz “bochinche”, generalmente reconocida como venezolanismo, aunque localizada en el habla popular canaria y asturiana. La
voz, cuyo origen popular se remonta probablemente al siglo XVIII en Venezuela, si bien documentada a partir del siglo XIX, exhibe una notable presencia
en la literatura y en la historia.
