Abstract
En este trabajo se describen algunos de los problemas que enfrentan
los docentes con respecto al acceso y uso de las tecnologías de información
y comunicación (TIC) entre los cuales se destacan: la carencia de recursos
económicos, tanto a nivel institucional como personal, lo que a juicio de
muchos es el principal impedimento para el uso de la tecnología de punta;
el analfabetismo tecnológico, referido al desconocimiento no sólo del manejo
de las computadoras sino de una serie de equipos y dispositivos que permiten
establecer un nuevo estilo de comunicación y, por último, la incertidumbre
sobre cómo enseñar a los alumnos ante las características peculiares que
éstos presentan como primera generación de la era digital. Los cambios
dramáticos que han originado las TIC dejan traslucir que la sociedad de la
información sentará sus bases en el acceso, intercambio y consumo de
conocimientos. En el caso que se presenta, la situación de los docentes, el
escenario futuro exige la necesidad de establecer políticas claras de
capacitación que les permita proveerse de informaciones y conocimientos
que van desde el dominio básico computacional hasta el uso y aplicación
de las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza y de aprendizaje.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | In this work there are described some of the problems that the teachers face with regard to the access and use of the technologies of information and communication (TIC) between which they are outlined: the lack of economic resources, so much to institutional like personal level, which in the opinion of many people is the principal impediment for the use of the technology of top; the technological illiteracy referred to the ignorance not only of the managing of the computers but of a series of equipments and devices that allow to establish a new style of communication and, finally, the uncertainty on how teaching the pupils before the peculiar characteristics that these present as the first generation of the digital age. The dramatic changes that the TIC have originated suggest that the society of the information will sit his bases in the access, exchange and consumption of knowledge. In the case that one presents, the situation of the teachers, the future scene demands the need to establish clear policies of training that allows them to be provided with information and knowledge that go from the basic domain computacional up to the use and application of the TIC in the process of education and of learning. |
